Red Dot Scopes are designed for quick target acquisition at short-to-medium ranges. The scopes operate by providing the shooter with a bright red point of light that is only visible by looking through the scope. This point of light represents the projected point-of-impact of your weapon. Red dot scopes have a long eye relief so they can be used on handguns as well as shoulder-fired weapons. The dot adjustment dials are calibrated to move the dot 1/4-inch per click for a target at 100 yards.
